  • Attractions

There is life after LeRoy’s! LeRoys Boys Home, as it was once fondly called, is just a chapter in one’s life. We are interested in hearing from you and learning the rest of your story. Use our blog spot, “Life after LeRoy’s” to share your story and photos with others.

“I remember when” is a blog to share fond memories. As you browse through the photos you may remember an incident that others want to share in the memory. Share your memories with us and others.

Begin by registering your email address and alumni information and we will respond with a password for secure login. This will ensure that the site is exclusively used by alumni and staff of LeRoy Haynes Center.

We look forward to hearing from you.

My 42 Years at LeRoy's

I just celebrated my 42nd Anniversary and retirement on 9/29/2011. It has been a great privilege to work here all those years. I have seen many changes over the years, but Uncle LeRoy's mission of having a safe place for boys to live and learn is still true today and that warms my heart!

I have many wonderful memories and will miss being here day to day! What I will miss the most is connecting with former residents as they drop in or call--so maybe this website will help some of us keep in touch.

I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful retirement celebration--a lasting memory, for sure! It was nice to see former residents from every decade!!
